Continuing on our visit to the Holcomb-Jimison Farmstead, we find the replica of the dentist’s office. Appears that the dentist is also the telephone operator…

Eileen, Ari and I recently went to Belmont Park to take in a ‘Day At The Races’ at one of the most beautiful Thoroughbred Tracks in the United States. The place was empty…

The finish line spectator area is empty…

…so access to photograph was easy and we had a great day. Unfortunately Ari did not pick any winners while his dad, that’s me, bet on only one horse, Willy Elliot, and won by a head.

The Barber Shop…

Eileen and I, along with two other photographer friends,  recently went to The Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead in Lambertville, NJ. The farmstead/museum is dedicated to the preservation of Hunterdon County’s agricultural heritage from the 18th into the 20th centuries.

This restored 10 acre property features a general store, post office, blacksmith shop, carriage shed, print shop, a new pole barn and more. Here’s a look at the barber shop, which was donated by a local resident.
